How the Treatment Works

Once the veneers are delivered from the lab, your dentist will modify the veneers as much as necessary through trimming. Then your dentist will add cement to the veneers, put them accurately in place and use a special light beam to activate the bonding compounds in the cement to give you the perfect smile.

When the patient and dentist choose Lumineers, much less preparation of the teeth is required. Lumineers are veneers that are particularly strong and thin. The only preparation needed is texturing the front of the teeth so that this thin veneer will bond tightly to the teeth. In this case, temporary veneers are not needed.
